The Land Between The Lakes (LBL) is a designated national recreation area under the management of the USDA Forest Service. Located in western Kentucky and Tennessee, LBL welcomes an average of two million visitors each year and provides a number of attractions such as Elk and Bison Prairie and the Woodlands Nature Station.

Woodlands Nature Station
Located north of the Golden Pond Visitor Center, Woodlands Nature Station provides an opportunity for outdoor activities such as canoeing and hiking. Trips are usually organized during the spring, summer and fall.
